Our Board has established two TASK GROUPS to address issues of importance to the membership in services for young people (The 13-19 Task Group) and adults (The IAG for Adults Task Group). Each Task Group involves senior managers/practitioners from within the membership, nominated by each member; this ensures that the Groups are able to draw upon direct experiences of those delivering or managing direct delivery of front-line services for the public. Associate members are also welcome to participate in the Task Groups. Policy Papers, Discussion Papers, responses to Government consultations et al are usually drafted with direct input from the Task Groups as much as the Board. For the past three years, Paul Chubb acted as secretary to each Group - Neil Williams now will fulfil this role at least until 1.4.2009, when the Board will be reviewing its established Task Groups and its professional and administrative support service arrangements for 2009/10 onwards.

 

The 13-19 Task Group currently comprises;

Ø      Graham Hollowell (Connexions Coventry & Warwickshire)

Ø      John Jordan (CXL)

Ø      Gary Longden (Connexions Nottinghamshire)

Ø      Liz Marshall (Hertfordshire Careers)

Ø      Catherine Rowland (CfBT)

Ø       Graham Smith (Connexions Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole)

Ø      Steve West (Connexions Cornwall & Devon)

Ø      Terry Walsh (igen group)

Ø      Alison Williams (Prospects Services)
