1. Introduction
1.1 Careers England is the TRADE ASSOCIATION for employers involved in the career guidance (information, advice and associated products and services) business in England. As such it is an association of employers.
1.2 Its members offer publicly-funded services across much of the country, with coverage in each of the nine English regions.
1.3 Additionally, its full and associate members have contracts which are either short-term specifically-funded projects or assignments which are specifically located in a locality, a sub-region, a region or occasionally national.
1.4 This brief paper is offered as an indication of the growing coverage of the country by Careers England’s member organisations.
