As part of our Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute of Career Guidance (ICG), we have negotiated discounts for Careers England MEMBERS booking places on ICG courses and conferences. The discounts apply with immediate effect. The value is 10% discount for ALL CE members’ employees attending ICG courses and conferences. ICG is also offering an additional 10% discount to CE Member organisations establishing bulk membership purchase schemes for their employees. The MEMBERS ONLY section provides details of the booking codes to use (please see STRATEGY).
Daily reports and a weekly bulletin are issued to all Members covering all the printed articles from Hansard and national press reporting on issues related to career education and guidance services for all ages.
Careers England believes that businesses offering career guidance to young people and adults should have a powerful voice in future service and policy developments. Therefore Careers England will be working widely with Government on a range of issues affecting the career information, advice and guidance services available to people at every stage of their lives.
You will be able to meet colleagues involved in other Member organisations through serving on one of our four TASK GROUPS (we already have three : one on 13-19 issues, another on services for adults and a third on all-age career guidance Quality issues, the fourth will cover workforce issues). Each of these Task Groups involve 'middle managers / practitioners' from CE's membership; Share information through the Members only section of the Careers England website; Meet fellow Members at the twice yearly meetings of Members with the Board and the AGM.
