The Careers Guidance Guarantee was launched to an audience of 200 careers professionals on 20th October 2021 and to the wider education and skills sector in March 2022. Members of the Career Development Policy Group spoke about the need for action relating to careers work in schools and colleges; responses to rising youth unemployment and opportunities for young people; the challenge facing graduates in the labour market; the provision of lifelong guidance and the National Careers Service; and professionalism and quality in careers delivery.
