Careers education manifesto launched

22nd November 2019 by ceAdmin

Careers England, in association with the Careers Development Institute (CDI) and the International Centre for Guidance Studies (iCeGS) has launched a five-point manifesto for careers based on the following statement:

“Every citizen should have the right to build a career that allows them to meet their own needs and the needs of their family and to make a positive contribution to society and the economy. The right to build a decent career should not be limited by an individual’s background. Government has an important role to play in ensuring that individuals can gain access to the support that they need to build and develop their careers throughout their lives.”

We are asking members, individuals and organisations to endorse our statement and share and promote it with colleagues, stakeholders and local parliamentary candidates, as we work to raise awareness, improve coherence and achieve greater investment in the career development sector.
